Terms of use

These terms govern use of the website nosceipsum.app and of the mobile applications published by its owner, Juan Antonio Hernández López (details in the legal notice). The Spanish version prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Acceptance

Accessing the site or installing any of the applications means accepting these terms as published at that time. If you do not agree, simply do not use them.

2. Licence

You are granted a personal, free, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use the applications on devices you own or control. Ownership of the software is not transferred.

You may not decompile, reverse-engineer or modify the code except as permitted by law; redistribute the app or publish it in other stores; remove authorship notices; or use it for unlawful purposes.

3. Distribution through Google Play

Apps are distributed via Google Play. That platform's terms — including those on payments, refunds and updates — are outside the owner's control and apply independently of these terms.

4. Availability and updates

The applications are provided "as is". The owner may publish updates, change features or withdraw an app from distribution, with no obligation to maintain earlier versions. Notice will be given on this site where an app stops receiving maintenance.

5. Liability

The applications are support tools: the calculations, tallies and records they produce should be checked by the user before decisions are taken on them. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for data loss, loss of profit or indirect damages arising from use or inability to use them. Nothing here excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

6. Backups

Where an app stores information only on the device, that information depends on the device: uninstalling the app, clearing its data or losing the phone means the data cannot be recovered. Use the export or backup features the app provides.

7. Data protection

Each app's data processing is described in its own privacy policy, published on this domain. The website's is in the website privacy policy.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect legal or functional changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date shown above.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

Spanish law applies. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Murcia (Spain). If you act as a consumer, this does not affect your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your domicile under applicable law.
